Speed
如果 sets up a condition; 就 introduces what follows. 就 normally goes *after* the subject of the second clause.
In casual speech 的话 can sit at the end of the condition instead of 如果: 你不舒服的话，就休息一下。

Watch out
- 如果下雨，我不去 ✗ (missing 就) → 如果下雨，我就不去 ✓
- 就 never starts the sentence by itself here.
