Privacy

The short version: without an account we store nothing about you. With an account we store an email address and your study progress — and nothing else. You can download or delete all of it at any time.

What we store

  • Your email address

It is how you sign in (we send a one-time code to it). We never send marketing email — the only messages we send are the sign-in codes you ask for.

  • Your study progress

If you sign in, the same data you generate in the browser (saved words and their review schedule, practice history, typing and shadowing results, your daily streak) is stored on our servers so it can follow you to another device.

  • A session cookie

One httpOnly cookie keeps you signed in. It carries no tracking identifier and is only sent to our own API.

What we do not do

  • No third-party tracking scripts, no advertising, no data brokers.
  • No profile of how you learn, beyond the numbers you can see yourself on the progress page.
  • No selling or sharing your data. We do not have a business model that needs it.
  • Site analytics is Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors.

Where it lives, and for how long

Everything is stored on Cloudflare (Workers and D1) and kept until you delete it. Without an account, nothing leaves your browser at all — saved words and progress live in your device's local storage, and you can clear them by clearing site data.

Take it with you, or delete it

On the account page you can download everything we store about you as a JSON file, or delete your account. Deleting is immediate and permanent: the email address and every piece of progress on our servers are removed, and the data already in your browser is left alone — so your list keeps working on that device.

Questions

Write to [email protected] — a real person reads it. If anything here is unclear, that is a bug in this page and we would rather fix it than have you guess.
