Speed

Verb + 得 + description says *how* an action is performed: 他跑得很快。

For the negative, put 不 after 得: 他跑得不快。

Watch out

  • 得 always follows the verb here — 他很快跑 ✗
  • 要看「能不能」,用 V 得 + 结果:我看得见、我听不懂。
