租房子要看清楚的事

zū租fáng zi房子de的shí hou时候，hé tong合同yī dìng一定yào要kàn看zǐ xì仔细。

When you rent a place, you must read the contract carefully.

chú le除了fáng zū房租，hái yǒu还有wù yè物业fèi费hé和shuǐ水diàn电fèi费。

Besides the rent, there are also management fees and utilities.

Many places ask for "one month deposit, three months rent up front" — four months of rent at once.

If you found the place through an agency, there is an agency fee as well.

When you view the place, check that the water heater, air conditioner and heating all work.

Look at the kitchen and the balcony too, and whether the windows face south.

It is best to chat with the neighbours and ask whether the compound is quiet.

The contract should state clearly who repairs things, when you can move out, and when the deposit is returned.

qiān zì签字zhī qián之前，bǎ把zhè xiē这些dōu都pāi zhào拍照liú xià留下lái来。

Before you sign, photograph all of it.

zhè yàng这样dào qī到期de的shí hou时候，jiù就bù不huì会yǒu有má fan麻烦。

That way there will be no trouble when the lease ends.
