Speed
既然 accepts something as already true or settled, and 就 draws the conclusion: 既然来了，就多坐一会儿。
Different from 因为……所以……, which explains why something happened; 既然 starts from a fact you both know.

Watch out
- The 就 half usually carries a suggestion, a decision or a consequence.
- Don't answer a 既然 sentence with 但是 — the logic is “given this, therefore that”.
